A Wee Bit About Myself

About Me

Well what's happening, My Name is Niall, and I am a 19-Year-Old student at Ulster University Belfast. I am currently studying business, and this is my second year and for one of my modules I've been tasked with creating this blog. I am excited to share some of my favourite albums and artists with all of you and hopefully hear some of your recommendations.

I am a keen vinyl collector and just general lover of music with my all-time favourite band being Pink Floyd although I do also love many other amazing artists and genres especially Rap and Metal. 

I've never been the type of person who posts all of the time on my personal social media accounts so I am a little bit nervous and embarrassed but I do love a challenge. "What's Spinning" - 2/10/25 - "Armageddon" - Sci-Fi The Mastermind

Aftermath Of Agony (2:47)   Released - 28th Sep  2024  Album Length - 20 Minutes Imagine mixing Nas, Wu-tang Clan and MF Doom together and you'd get Sci-Fi The Mastermind. Old school boom bap beats and conscious lyrics makes Armageddon an album that will always be in your rotation. The title track features some of the best spitting I've seen especially for a underground artist. A relatively short album yes however every song is just old school hip-hop at its best and I believe its a breath of fresh air for the rap community. Recommended by my good friend Eimantas this album packs a punch while also pulling on the heartstrings. Falling into the genre of Nu-Metal/Alternative Rock which was pioneered by the likes of Linkin Park, Korn and System Of A Down I feel this is an album that many people can enjoy.
