Imagine mixing Nas, Wu-tang Clan and MF Doom together and you'd get Sci-Fi The Mastermind. Old school boom bap beats and conscious lyrics makes Armageddon an album that will always be in your rotation. The title track features some of the best spitting I've seen especially for a underground artist.

A relatively short album yes however every song is just old school hip-hop at its best and I believe its a breath of fresh air for the rap community. With songs like Revolution of Mass Destruction and The Mightiest Magician this album will feed all of your rap cravings with hard hitting lyrics, amazing samples and Mobb Deep type beats.

This album has been one of my most listened to recently especially for when your trying to chill with the vibey beats of Greetings Planet Earth or if your trying to get hyped up with the title track Armageddon. Sci-Fi The Mastermind is definitely and artist to keep your eye on as I believe he's going to go far in the rap game. This is up there with my favourite rap albums and for that it gets a rating of 8 / 10.

If you're into this album Sci-Fi has just released a new album called Superhuman Crystallized Intergalactically-Formed Intelligence which I highly recommended you all go listen to but if I had to recommend a album from a different artists I would recommend you listen to Illmatic - Nas or Enter The Wu Tang - Wu Tang Clan.

About The Artist

Sci-Fi The Mastermind is an emerging hip-hop and rap artist known for creating immersive, dystopian soundscapes in his music. He released the album Superhuman Crystallized Intergalactically-Formed Intelligence in September 2025, a 14-track project showcasing his use of lo-fi textures, heavy atmospheric drums, and complex, coded lyricism. Tracks like “Armageddon,” “The Mightiest Magician,” and “Far From Human” highlight his calm yet razor-sharp delivery and thought-provoking themes. Sci-Fi stands out for his unified artistic aesthetic—minimalist visuals featuring red, black, and angular designs—that complement his sound and world-building approach. Rather than following mainstream trends, he focuses on creating music with depth, moral weight, and futuristic imagination, making him a distinctive and innovative voice in the contemporary underground and experimental hip-hop scene.
